“The show is titled ‘Rooted to Hope’ because climate change can sometimes feel overwhelming but my hope is that real change can happen by connecting small positive steps towards conservation,” said Rowan.
The theme of the show is ‘Connection’. Artists have been asked to submit a piece that represents a time when they felt connected to nature. The show is open to members of the Stamford Art Association and students from Stamford Public Schools, as well as all local artists. This is a juried show with cash prizes for First, Second and Third place honors. Proceeds will go to the Coalition for Rainforest Nations. The Virtual Art Exhibit is scheduled to November 15th to December 17th 2020.
