Paul DeNoon joins the Coalition as Director of Policy

Tuesday, November 17, 2020, New York; Paul DeNoon joins the Coalition as Director of Policy. Paul brings knowledge of financial markets to the CfRN and, having spent 36 years in the financial markets.  Paul previously worked for AllianceBernstein as a Senior Vice President and Fixed-Income Portfolio Manager at the end of 2019

During his 28 years tenure Paul built the firm’s emerging market debt and multi-sector fixed-income products, having direct oversight of some $60 billion of client assets,  He also served on a variety of investment committees.  He was elected to firm’s first Partner Class in 2010 and was then asked to spearhead the firm’s corporate responsibility initiatives. These included Responsible Investment and Diversity & Inclusion.  Paul was instrumental in the creation of  The Climate Change and Investment Risk” curriculum, which was developed in collaboration with Columbia University’s Earth Institute.   

Prior to AllianceBernstein, he was a vice president in the Investment Portfolio Group at Manufacturers Hanover Trust and an economist in the bank’s Financial Markets Research Group, where he was primarily responsible for analysis of monetary and fiscal policy. DeNoon began his career as a research analyst at Lehman Brothers. He holds a BA in economics from Union College and an MBA in finance from New York University.

Paul will be responsible for developing policy and carbon markets for and the Coalition.
